This couple has refused to be a part of Nach Baliye 8!!

And here's why they refused.

Wrestler Geeta Phogat became a nationwide sensation after her real life struggle was depicted perfectly in Aamir Khan's Dangal. The movie gave Geeta and her sister Babita Phogat and their father Mahavir Phogat the much-deserved recognition.

The Phogat family also made an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show recently, where we got to see a very different side of the wrestler.

And, if things would have worked in her favor, we would have gotten to see another facet of the wrestler. Geeta Phogat, who got married in November 2016, was apparently approached for Nach Baliye's upcoming 8th Season.

Unfortunately, due to prior commitments, the wrestler is not taking up the show. When we contacted Geeta, here's what she told us, "Yes, I have been approached for the show, but I have my National Camp going on right now. Hence, I will not be able to take up the show."

Other couples who have been approached for the show are Vivek Dahiya and Divyanka Tripathi, Rohan Mehra and Kanchi Singh, Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakkar, Utkarsha Naik and husband Manoj Verma, Pritam Singh and Wife Amanjot among others.

This season already looks fab with some of the best Indian Tv couples such as Deepika-Shoaib and Divyanka Vivek as well as Rohan-Kanchi. Love these three couples. Rohan, waiting for your comeback, Shoaib, I am waiting for Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai. Love u Divyanka and Vivek. All the best guys
