The Trunk on Netflix is slowly gaining recognition all over the globe. Gong Yoo plays Han Jeongwhan while Seo Hyun-Jin is In-Ji, a contract wife. The series dealt with a number of topics like how marriage can be stifling after some time, and childhood trauma. The lead actors delivered superlative performances. Great cinematography and OSTs were icing on the cake.

Mr Plankton was a rom-com directed by Hong Jong-chan. The lead cast had Bloodhounds star Woo Do-hwan, Lee Yoo-mi, Oh Jung-se and Kim Hae-sook. It was a love story between a terminally ill man and world's unluckiest woman.

This is hailed as one of the best Korean series of 2024. A Shop for Killers on Disney+ and Hulu stars Lee Dong-wook and Kim Hye-jun. It is the story of a girl who grows up with an uncle who runs a suspicious online shop. The series is termed as very entertaining, and the gun action scenes are top-notch. Lee Dong-wook plays Jeong Jin-man on the show.
