After the amazing response we got from our stereotypes of consummation scenes, We decided to bring you an article that focuses on the stereotypes of a Television wedding! Although some shows have weird weddings or runaway weddings, most daily soaps use weddings to bait the audience and get high TRP's these weddings are glorified and monotonous. So we compiled a list of things that are seen in almost all TV weddings! Check it out-

Firstly we have the Shaadi Ki Tayaari sequence.

Every TV wedding has a sequence where everyone is engrossed in preparations for the wedding. This is the same sequence when the brides or the groom's sister complains about her lehenga not being stitched right.

Then we have Pitaji Jo Phool Walon Ko direct Karte Hai.

We have seen this scene tons of times and have laughed about it every single time. The father of the bride is seen directing the decorators on where to place flowers for the wedding! Because quantity of flowers is directly proportional to how rich the family is.

Maa- Baap Ka Mandatory Lecture.

Just before the wedding, the bride or the groom is seen with the parent where the parent tells them that their life is going to be different from now and that they have to leave their house.

Jabardasti ka Sangeet sequence, where a random Aunty plays the dhol with a spoon!

This sequence is also followed by a poorly choreographed dance on trending songs that have no relation to the show or the couple whatsoever. Because 'Tenu Kaala Chashma Jachda Hai.'

Typical Cousins Jo Dulhan Ko Chhedenge!

There are always some cousins or close friends who will tease the bride on her big day. They will trouble the bride and talk with softcore sexual innuendos referring to her first night.

Ek Door Ka Relative who would crib about everything.

Everything from the inadequate number of fans to the oiliness of the samosas will trouble this person. They will be on a constant lookout for errors in the wedding and will try to make a scene when they spot something.

Ek Apshagun Jispe Bijli Kadkegi!

There will always be something that will happen to contradict the rituals and the camera will pan thrice across everyone's face accompanied by lightning sounds and visuals of a shocked Panditji!

The Ye Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti moment!

Believe us or not, in every TV wedding, there is someone or the other who wants the wedding to be called off. Usually, it's the exes of the couple, but in a lot of shows, there is a major revelation about the bride or the groom due to which the parents get furious and want the wedding to be called off!

After the whole wedding drama, the consummation drama begins! Check out our article on the stereotypes of Indian consummation scenes here-
