The longest I can go without checking my Cell Phone...

It seems that the time is not far when the three necessities of life (Food, clothes and shelter) will have one more name added to it and that would be - Cell Phones!

Yes, our cell phones have now become a vital part of our lives and it's hard to keep ourselves away from it. It's like an addiction, which compels us staying hooked with all the time. We keep checking it every hour, every minute and every second. What if we were asked to keep ourselves away from our phones for a longer time? How long can one survive?

We quizzed your favourite stars on the same as the longest they can go without checking their cell phones. Here's what they shared...

Divyanka Tripathi (Currently seen on Yeh Hai Mohabbatein) - I don't check my phone for straight 6-7 hours... only when I am sleeping! Else I check my phone every half an hour on a normal working day. However, I prefer to keep my phone out of network and use it only as a camera, when I am on holidays and out station visits.

Rohan Mehra (Currently seen on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai) - I think instead of this, the question should be how short can I go without checking my phone (laughs). I need my phone all the time with me; the only time when I don't use it is when I am in the shot.

Preetika Rao (Last seen on Beintehaa) - If I wish, I can go without checking it probably the whole day but practically, I have to keep checking it minimum every hour for work purposes.

Param Singh (Currently seen on Sadda Haq Season 2) - I don't like to be on phone all the time; I am not on Whatsapp and Facebook. I am just on Twitter and I check it once in a day. Rest of the time, my phone is not with me; it's either with my AD or my boy on the sets. I am not too much into my phone and I can go without it may be for a week or even a month.

Surbhi Jyoti (Last seen on Qubool Hai) - I can survive the longest. It depends as where and with whom I am. I would just require my phone to take pictures when I am travelling or enjoying with my friends. I can surely survive without Whatsapp or any social networking sites.
