The Kapil Sharma show is back but on OTT

The immensely popular Kapil Sharma Show is set to make a comeback, transitioning to the OTT platform after its previous run on Sony TV. The actor had previously hinted at an upcoming project on Netflix through his social media and has now shared a promo.

In the promotional clip, Kapil Sharma is shown relocating to a new venue for his show, aiming for a fresh start. However, upon arrival, he discovers Archana Puran Singh, Rajeev Thakur, Kiku Sharda, and Krushna Abhishek already present in his new house. Despite his initial frustration, Kapil concludes the promo with a heartwarming line: "The address has changed, but the family hasn't."

The show went on a hiatus in June this year, during which the cast embarked on live show tours across the United States. The show's first season premiered on April 23, 2016, and its fifth season was launched in September 2022.
