Till date all the female centric films were based on hard hitting concepts of women empowerment but Tanu Weds Manu Returns is the lone film which is women oriented but with the masala of entertainment.

Irrespective of low key promotions and smooth sailing social media trafficking this movie garnered applauds around the globe with more of word of mouth publicity. The dual characters played by Kangana Ranaut received appraisals from the who's who of B-town. The leg shaking dance numbers made it to the chart busters list and got on the humming note of audience.

With all these super duper features it was predicted that this movie will surely enter the 100 Crore club. Well, the predictions proved to be true and this romantic comedy film has marked his place in the squad.

This indeed is a proud moment for the Indian Cinema to have a heroine centric film garner 100 Crore from sole Indian Box Office collection.
