Challenging roles excite good actors and they go to any limits to pour in all the authenticity they can to justify it. After playing many negative characters, Rohit Khurana was almost fed up. After his last role as Lord Shani in Karmaphal Data Shani, he had made up his mind not to do a negative role again.

In a recent interaction with TOI, Rohit talked about his new role. He has been roped in to join the cast of Siddharth Kumar Tewary's 'Tantra'. As told to the paper, he will be essaying the role of Daksh Mehra. His character would be a professor-cum-doctor specializing in occult sciences.

The role is quiet interesting and got him all excited to take it up. Recollecting his experience earlier, he said that while playing Shani, he was stationed in Umargaon, which is about four hours away from Mumbai, and was not getting any time to spend time with his family. So, after his last show, he decided to take a break, as he wanted to spend some time with them.

He said that he was not even getting good offers and that is when he decided against doing any negative roles. Now he is looking forward to his role in Tantra and so are we.
