Tahira Kashyap shares her FIRST POST after revealing her breast cancer relapse after 7 years; SEE

Tahira Kashyap's candidness about her breast cancer journey provided solace and motivation to many. After conquering the disease, she focused on personal growth and even made her directorial debut. However, her fans were devastated when she recently disclosed the recurrence of her breast cancer after a seven-year remission. On April 9, 2025, she expressed gratitude to everyone for their unwavering support and well wishes.

Two days prior, writer and director Tahira Kashyap shared the news of her second breast cancer diagnosis on Instagram. In her post, Ayushmann Khurrana's wife candidly discussed her experience with the illness, referring to it as "round 2." Earlier today, on April 9, 2025, she posted a message thanking everyone for their love and prayers.

Tahira shared a charming selfie, beaming as she basked in the Mumbai sunshine with a cheerful sunflower. 

Basking in all the love and prayers! They are magical. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Back home and recovering. The Sharmajee Ki Beti helmer concluded her note by stating, “And when such a connection is made which is beyond actual relationship it’s called Humanity which is the highest form of spirituality.”

Following her post, a wave of support poured in from Bollywood stars and well-wishers. Rajkummar Rao, star of "Stree 2," wrote, "The strongest girl ever. Sending lots of love to you Tahira," while veteran actress and fellow breast cancer survivor Mahima Chaudhry sent her "big love and hug." Mandira Bedi shared that she has been keeping Tahira in her prayers.

Tahira Kashyap was initially diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018, and she shared several candid moments from her treatment journey on social media. She is married to actor Ayushmann Khurrana, and they have two children together: a son and a daughter.
