Taarak Mehta ropes in the most costly idol...

Popular comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah( Neela Telefilms) just doesn't cease to amaze its loyal fans. The show that is the most watched show on Sony SAB always delights its viewers with novel and innovative things. This one time, on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, the makers bought a real gold idol of Lord Mahavir, which happens to be the most costly and rarest property ever used in a daily serial.

We also learnt from one of the unit members that the Jain alert group, who are known to perform these mantras, did it in a very detailed fashion without charging any fee. The entire cast gladly participated in the celebration and sang hymns in praise of the lord. Never have we heard of such an expensive prop and such an extensive celebration ever being done in the Indian television industry.

Well, now we certainly have and trust us when we say that Asit Modi, the Producer, does things Zare Andaaz Mei! Wah kya baat hai!
