Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad host a grand wedding reception in Delhi: Pics

Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad hosted a wedding reception in Delhi yesterday. A few weeks ago, the couple got legally married in court and shared their joy with loved ones and friends. A few days ago, haldi, mehendi, sangeet, carnatic singing recital, and qawwali night kicked off the traditional wedding celebrations. 

Now, the pair hosted their wedding reception on Thursday night and it was a star studded event in all ways possible.

Before leaving for their wedding reception, Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad posed for photographs with the press. In the pictures, Fahad wore an ivory and gold sherwani to the wedding celebration. At the same time, Swara looked stunning in a pink and red lehenga with golden embroidery. She accessorised it with a large ring, matching earrings, a maang tikka, several bracelets, and a striking necklace. With ear-to-eye smiles, the couple looked picture-perfect as they posed for the photographers. 

The newlywed took pictures before a flowery backdrop with the neon sign reading #SwaadAnusaar, the hashtag they used for their wedding. Sharing the same, the Veere Di Wedding actress wrote, "Presenting Mr and Mrs. #SwaadAnusaar."

Also, earlier yesterday, Swara Bhasker dropped some gorgeous pictures of herself and Fahad Ahmad from the Qawwali night. She exuded royal elegance in a black velvet ethnic suit with golden embroidery and a contrasting green dupatta. Her accessories comprised of huge earrings, a nose ring, a maang tikka, and a passa that took her regal look to another level altogether. Sharing the pictures, Swara wrote, "Yeh jo halka halka Suroor hai! Qawwali Night at #SwaadAnusaar." 

For the unversed, several big politicians such as Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party leader Jaya Bachchan, Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, former Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari among others were seen in attendance to bless the newly married couple.
