Sushant Singh Rajput’s sad demise shocked the entire nation, fans and many celebrities continue to mourn the late actor. Months after his sad demise, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) investigation seemed to have lost its pace and fans are eager to know the developments about the same. 

Several rumors suggested that the case is closed and the fans are seen mourning for their favorite actor; however, Subramanian Swamy sought details of the probe from the CBI.

Now, in a recent turn of events, CBI ‘officially replied’ to Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy on the Sushant Singh Rajput's death investigation and assured that the investigation is currently under process.

The agency stated, “The CBI is conducting an investigation in a thorough and professional manner using the latest scientific techniques. During the investigation, advanced mobile forensic equipment including latest software has been used for extraction and analysis of relevant data available in the digital devices and also for the analysis of dump data of the relevant cell tower locations related to the case.”

“The investigating team and senior officers have visited the place of incident on numerous occasions for better understanding of the circumstances related to the incident. The experts of CFSL, New Delhi, considered the best in their field in India, also visited and examined the place of incident. The experts also carried out simulation exercise,” mentioned the official letter.   

In his interview with Republic TV, Subramanian Swamy elaborated about the same and said, "Matter is not closed as people are mourning on Twitter. Everything is open to challenge in court, I will not let this go. Lobbies who are behind the murder are very powerful, we should not lose hope." 

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on June 14 in his Mumbai apartment. Though the Mumbai police, based on the autopsy, called it a suicide. The wild speculations followed by the pool of rumors and allegations on social media from SSR’s family raised doubts that became a part of an overall CBI investigation.
