Sushant Singh Rajput with Anand L Rai

Sushant Singh Rajput started off his career in Bollywood with great struggle. He started his acting career by playing the role of Manav in TV serial Pavitra Rishta. The show was a super hit and he went on to star in a film called Kai Po Che. Several tried to claim that he had hardly any projects and even found it difficult to find work.

Many reports have been speculating about how Sushant Singh Rajput gave up on life, because of the pressure of sustaining his career. Many have even gone on to share how he was thrown out of films.

But on the contrary, the reality seems to be very different.

A Pinkvilla report suggests that he had plenty of work and Sushant was in talks with a big director mentioned the source.

"Sushant had enough work to keep him busy till next year-end. He had signed two films and was in advanced talks for another three projects. People who are claiming he was out of work are completely wrong," the source said.

The report also quoted the source who said, "Sushant was discussing a project with Aanand L Rai under his banner. The Ranjhanaa director loved Sushant's work in all his films and they had been wanting to collaborate for some time. When Aanand came across a script which perfectly suited Sushant, he had met him and narrated it to him. The actor loved the idea and had even verbally agreed to do it."

The actor-filmmaker duo were planning to take it further once the lockdown was over, but now with his sudden death, Aanand is completely distraught.

Meanwhile, on the other hand a recent interview with ABP?News, Rumy Jafry said that no one has the power to break another’s career in Bollywood. He also maintained that Sushant was not suffering in his career. “You know how the business works. He was among the top 10 actors. Last film of his (Chhichhore) did Rs 150 crore business. I know what the recovery was for my film that was doing with him,”

Sushant Singh Rajput's sad demise has sparked a number of question amongst netizens. While they continue to revolt against nepotism, Bollywood is once again in the spotlight. Sushant was said to be suffering from depression for the past six months.

I’d rather spit on Bollywood for all they’ve done to him, his mental health. Chichchore is a great movie, one of best ones based on its story, did 150Cr so where’s its due? Are you really telling me that he wasn’t mocked, insulted at every given opportunity by cheapsters like Salman “being human” Khan and Karan “KJo” Johar amongst others. Such disgusting, dirt worthy monsters those 2. Bollywood is not just sad but quite filthy. God is watching and they’ll all be served what they deserve. Karma won’t spare them.

It's crazy that you didn't even bother to get the facts right. Sushant didn't start his career with pavitra rishta. That is where he got major fame. He started with kis desh main hai mera dil as a supporting actor which was a very good role and he aced it. He was a very popular and loved character of that show. He got pavitra rishta and there was no looking back.
