Sushant Singh Rajput No More: Sonam Kapoor Lashes Out, says Blaming Girlfriend Or Colleagues is Ignorant

Sushant Singh Rajput hanged himself at his Bandra house in Mumbai. Reportedly, the actor was battling with depression for the last six months and was taking anti-depressant pills as well. His house help also informed that the actor was disturbed since the last few days.

Sushant’s unfortunate and untimely demise has shattered his family members and industry friends. His fans are still in shock and unable to cope up with the loss. 

Many actors mourned the loss and poured in their heartfelt condolences to Sushant’s family. While the news of Sushant’s demise is a big shock, many celebrities have now tweeted saying that they were aware of the actor’s low phase and that the actor seemed disturbed. Reacting to the actor’s tweets, many celebrities including Kangana Ranaut, Nikhil Dwivedi, Rajat Barmecha slammed them for their hypocrisy and not supporting Sushant in times of need.

Netizens also slammed Sushant’s co-stars Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakroborty for neglecting Sushant in his tough times. Reacting to such comments, actress Sonam Kapoor lashed out and tweeted:

"Blaming a girlfriend, ex-girlfriend, family, colleagues for someone’s death is ignorant and fucking mean spirited."

Sonam’s tweet has stirred up a storm online and netizens responded back with hard-hitting replies. A Journalist reacted to the actor’s tweet and wrote: “You mean banning the most talented actor from acting in films is perfectly ok and we shouldn't blame these production houses or the Bollywood directors who never answered his calls because he was not a 'star' I suggest you continue to live in your London Bubble wearing sneakers.”

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut has also raised questions around Sushant’s suicide and asked if it was a suicide or a planned murder. She further mentioned that despite delivering such great hits like Kai Po Che, Kedarnath amongst many, Sushant received no recognition and such actors tried to beg for people to come and watch their films and he must have felt like a left out. 

She acknowledged Chhichore is the best film and had the best director yet it got no recognition and quizzed how a ‘Vahiyat film’ like Gully Boy receives all the awards. She even called out Sanjay Dutt and mentioned some people find his addiction cute.
