Sushant Singh Rajput’s death investigation has yet again seen a major development today after the AIIMS team in its report to CBI has ruled out the theories of poisoning and strangling floated by Sushant Singh Rajput’s family and lawyer.
The agency will reportedly probe into the original charge of ‘abetment to suicide’ that was listed by the Bihar police against Rhea Chakraborty and five others. For the uninitiated, the FIR was filed by Sushant’s father KK Singh for abetment of suicide at Rajiv Nagar Police Thana in Patna.
Meanwhile, after the Supreme Court directed the case towards CBI, the agency reportedly decided to consult a team of AIIMS for its medico-legal opinion on the post-mortem of Sushant Singh Rajput. The panel was led by Dr. Sudhir Gupta and they re-examined the autopsy and viscera reports of Sushant.

An India Today report also quoted Sudhir Gupta who highlighted that the CBI is likely to probe the "abetment to suicide" charge as leveled by Sushant's father KK Singh in the FIR at Bihar Police. Meanwhile, an official statement from Sudheer Gupta is still awaited.
However, amid the submission of Sushant’s medical report, the late actor’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti took to social media and shared a photo of her late brother with a cryptic message, “We Will Win.” In addition to the same, fans commented on her post and demanded justice for Sushant.
Furthermore, The CBI team is yet to issue an official statement on the AIIMS report. However, a few days back, when Sushant’s family lawyer had questioned the delay in the CBI probe, the agency had issued a statement that said that no angle had been ruled out and that probe is going on.
