Suriya 45: Trisha Krishnan teams up with Suriya for his next film after Kanguva

Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, one of Kollywood’s beloved on-screen pairs, are set to share the screen again in Suriya 45, directed by RJ Balaji. The duo, known for their chemistry in films like Mounam Pesiyadhe, Aayutha Ezhuthu, and Aaru, will reunite after nearly two decades since their last collaboration in 2005.

Sources close to the project have confirmed Trisha’s casting, marking her return alongside Suriya in what is shaping up to be a highly anticipated film. “The movie was set to start on November 18, but since Trisha had other commitments, it got pushed. The shoot will take place in Coimbatore,” the source revealed.

The film, tentatively titled Suriya 45, will be produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. The production house officially announced the project on X (formerly Twitter) on October 14. RJ Balaji, who is helming the film, expressed his gratitude on the platform, saying, “Thank you, Suriya sir, for this trust. Truly blessed.”

Adding to the excitement is the involvement of music maestro AR Rahman, who will compose the score. Rahman has recently been in the spotlight due to personal developments but remains a significant draw for the project.

Suriya 45 is expected to commence filming by the end of November or early December. With the reunion of Suriya and Trisha and RJ Balaji stepping into the director’s chair, the film has already sparked curiosity among fans and industry insiders alike.
