Surekha Sikri Discharged From Hospital; Needs Physiotherapy Now

It indeed was a shock indeed when it was confirmed that veteran actor Surekha Sikri was in the hospital where she was getting her treatment done after suffering a brain stroke back on Tuesday (9th September 2020). However, it has now been confirmed by the hospital itself that Sikri was discharged from the hospital on 22nd September 2020.

In an interview with Bombay Times, Dr. Ashutosh Shetty, the neurologist who was supervising Sikri's case said, "Surekhaji has improved from the time she suffered the stroke. She recognises people. She is even walking with support. Of course, she will need time before she can resume working and needs physiotherapy now."

Trusted-caretaker for the actor, Pinky said, "Honestly, her family members have forbidden me to talk. But since you have spoken to the doctor already, I can only add that Surekhaji is stable and we came home on the 22nd evening."

We wish and hope that she continues to recover and gets evern better with time passing by.
