Suniel Shetty REVEALS his biggest excitement in his life and it has a connection with Athiya-KL Rahul’s Baby

Suniel Shetty became a grandfather on March 24th, 2025, when his daughter Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul welcomed their first child, a baby girl. On World Health Day, the energetic 63-year-old actor highlighted the importance of good health. He is dedicated to maintaining his fitness, ensuring he can keep up with his granddaughter without getting tired. He explained that he works on his core strength so he can walk with confidence, avoiding slouching or dragging his feet. He shared that his greatest joy in life now is his grandchild.

A lot of kids are doing anabolic steroids and that’s an absolute no, because over a period it will tell you. I’m 60 plus and the only reason I train my abs is to make sure that I walk straight, I don’t hunch, and I don’t drag my feet. Tomorrow I’ll be able to play with my grandchild without having to take a break every two seconds, because the child’s energy is going to be different

He shared that everyone has things to anticipate with joy. For him, it's the simple pleasure of returning home to spend time with his wife, Mana Shetty, and his granddaughter, whom he calls his "biggest excitement" in life at the moment.

“When you train regularly, the dopamine and the adrenaline that you get after a workout is bliss. There are certain things that you have to be excited and continue to look forward to. I look forward to coming back home and spending time with Mana. My biggest excitement in my life, right now, is that child," he said.

On March 24th, KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty delighted fans with the announcement of their first child, a beautiful baby girl. They shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, simply stating, "Blessed with a Baby Girl. 24.03.2025. Athiya And Rahul." Athiya's brother, Ahan Shetty, reshared the post on his Instagram stories, overflowing with joy at becoming an uncle. Suniel Shetty, Athiya's father, couldn't contain his emotions, sharing the wonderful news on his Instagram story along with a heart and evil eye emoji, symbolizing love and protection.
