Bangalore, June 26 (IANS) Kannada filmmaker Gurudatt brings together Sudeep and Ramya, the hit pair of 'Mussanje Maathu', in his next film.

Gurudatt, who directed Sudeep's recently released 'Kaamannana Makkalu', says he had planned to make a film with Sudeep and Ramya much earlier and that he wanted to cast Ramya in 'Kaamannana Makkalu' as well.

'But there was some date problems and Ramya could not accommodate. But now both have agreed to work in this new project to be directed by P.N. Sathya, who had recently directed a hit film like 'Gooli' with Sudeep,' said Gurudatt.

'And this film will be a commercial entertainer, but it will be completely different from the brand of films which Sathya is making,' he added.

Incidentally, Gurudatt directed Ramya in his film 'Datta' that released two years ago. In the film, Ramya was paired with Darshan.

Gurudatt maintained that he is just taking the responsibility of producing the film and won't interfere with Sathya's work.

'Already Sudeep and Sathya had discussed the subject. And I am only providing them with whatever support they need,' said Gurudatt.

Gurudatt is buoyed by the response to 'Kaamannana Makkalu'. The film had a decent opening and the reports are very encouraging.

'I had already sold the film to distributors and I am getting a nice feed back from the fans as well as the buyers,' said Gurudatt who is now busy in his acting assignments.
