Step ahead in smart boots

Nip in the air calls for a pair of warm and chic boots. From Aztec-inspired ones to biker-chic, slip into winter boots.

Richa Mahajan, creative head of January.ROSE, an accessory store here, says lace-up boots are in vogue.

"Lace-up boots are on-trend shoes that can kick-start your wardrobe. Rock the biker-chic look this season with these rugged shoes which when paired with fragile dresses and eclectic accessories, look girly. Motorcycle-inspired fashion is here to stay," Mahajan told IANS.

She says boots inspired from the Aztec culture are also sought-after this season.

"They have moccasin construction with Mexican embroidery details and fringes," she said.

Boots with lace and crochet detailing is another option available to women who want to invest in a good pair of footwear.

"The toe shapes are slightly pointed and heels are blockish. A mix of different materials is an upcoming trend," said Mahajan.
