Sean Diddy Combs Faces Two New Charges for Alleged Trafficking Ahead of Upcoming Trial

Just a month before his trial begins, rapper Sean Diddy Combs has been slapped with two fresh criminal charges. On April 4, federal prosecutors in New York made a new indictment public, as reported by People magazine. The charges include one count of sex trafficking and another for transportation to engage in prostitution. This adds to the three serious charges he was already facing—sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting people for prostitution. That brings the total count to five.

The latest indictment highlights some disturbing details. Prosecutors claim that Diddy was involved in what they described as “freak-offs.” These were said to be well-planned, extravagant sex shows. According to the documents, the rapper and his associates allegedly lured victims with promises of romance. Once trust was built, they were reportedly forced or coerced into participating in these acts. Diddy has denied taking part in any such events.

Currently, the music mogul remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. He has been behind bars since September last year. Though he has pleaded not guilty to all charges, his legal troubles seem far from over. His trial is scheduled to start on May 5.
