SRK’s ‘Raees’ co-star Mahira Khan ties knot to businessman Salim Karim - Inside glimpse

After Parineeti and Raghav, yet another wedding from the world of entertainment has marked it’s way to the social media through dreamy pictures and videos. Pakistani actress Mahira Khan who starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the film Raees tied knot to businessman Salim Karim after dating him for a few years. The wedding took place at Pearl Continental Hotel Bhurban, according to a report by Samaa. Now inside pictures of the bride and groom along with their guests have been making rounds on the internet. 

The star was seen walking gracefully in a stunning pastel wedding lehenga as she approached Salim. In the video, Mahira and Salim were seen hugging and getting teary-eyed.

For the unversed, this is Mahira’s second wedding. Earlier she was married to Ali Askari and the couple share a son named Azlan who is 14 years old.

Talking about his current marriage, Salim Karim is a multifaceted entrepreneur, who as a CEO of Simpaisa gained name in the business world.

Salim and Mahira apparently initially ran into one other in 2017 at the launch of a television program called Tapmad TV. Mahira made her film debut in Bollywood in 2017 with the Shah Rukh Khan-starring movie Raees.

According to a 2019 report by the Pakistan-based news agency, Dispatch News Desk, Mahira got engaged to the businessman in Turkey in a private ceremony attended by close friends and family. Salim, according to the article, was a skilled DJ in addition to being the CEO of the Karachi-based business Simpaisa.

Flasing it back to the past, Mahira announced that she is in a committed relationship while appearing as a guest on Samina Peerzada's web series Rewind with Samina Peerzada in 2020. The Raees actress nodded and smiled when the senior actor inquired about Mahira's romantic relationships.
