Zee TV’s Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, starring Sriti Jha and Arjit Taneja in lead roles, has reached the 500-episode mark. The milestone was celebrated by the cast and crew, but the moment was also marked by a significant announcement — the show is set to go off-air soon.

The news was confirmed by both lead actors on their respective social media handles. Sriti Jha shared a compilation video on Instagram, reflecting on her journey with the character of Amruta. In her caption, she wrote: 500 episodes worth of love and laughter. Ghussail, dheet and bhukkhad Amruta has such a special place in my heart… The heart kept switching between being full and heavy… Aapke bina yeha tak nahi pohoch pate. Thank you for your love.

Arjit Taneja, who plays Virat Singh Ahuja, also posted a video with moments from the set and wrote: 500 episodes… and what a journey it’s been. One of the most special chapters of my life… With a heavy heart, I also want to share that we’ll soon be drawing the curtains on this beautiful journey. Like all good things, this too is coming to an end.

Premiering in 2023, Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye attempted to blend drama with a contemporary take on relationships and individual struggles. While it maintained steady viewership, the makers have reportedly decided to wrap up the show due to creative and scheduling reasons.

The chemistry between Sriti Jha and Arjit Taneja — reuniting after their earlier work together — was a key highlight. The show had a dedicated audience that engaged actively across social media platforms, particularly drawn to the dynamics between the lead characters.

An official end date for the show is yet to be announced. However, reports suggest that the final episode of the show will air on the 4th of May and that the show will be replaced by Saru.
