As Sony Entertainment Television gears up for the launch of the path-breaking family fantasy Arslaan, hi-tech marketing strategies are also being planned to promote the show in a big way!
Elaborating on the fan club, Danish Khan, Associate VP and Marketing Head says, “We have come up with a plan to create a cult on Arslaan. As an initial step, we have started a Fan Club ‘Fauj-E-Arslaan’ wherein we will be visiting more than 350 schools all over and will encourage kids to become members. One needs to just send out an SMS or drop a form in the drop box to get a Membership Card of this fantasy fan club”.
He further adds, “Apart from this, we have had a tie-up with Diamond Comics wherein the comic version of Arslaan can be read. We have also joined hands with Zapak Online Gaming which will get active from July 10th. You can see all the characters of the serial in this online game. If all falls in place, we will also come up with CD-ROM Games on Arslaan. In addition to this, we have come up with Arslaan labels for kids to sport in their note books. These are the strategies we have planned out for the first six months; we will be reviewing it and taking the marketing strategies to the next level later”.
Lastly, when asked about the strategies laid out to promote the show amongst adults, Danish Khan quips, “Children are our door to families!!”
Well, Arslaan surely has come up with some masterstrokes to appease the kids and maybe the families too!!
