Sonu Sood Teases Potential Collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan for Fateh 2

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood recently hinted at a possible reunion with Shah Rukh Khan, sparking excitement among fans. During a Q&A session on X (formerly Twitter) on January 9, 2025, Sood responded to a fan query about working with SRK again, teasing a potential sequel to his latest film, Fateh.

A fan asked, “SRK sir ke sath koi movie plan ki hai ya nahi bhai 10 saal se zyada ho gya Happy New Year kiye huye (Have you planned any movie with SRK sir? Brother, it has been more than 10 years since Happy New Year). Good luck bhai for #Fateh Insha Allah Blockbuster rahegi apki ye film (It will be a blockbuster).”

Sonu Sood replied, “Fateh-2 plan kar lenge bhai ke saath (Will plan Fateh-2 with brother). @iamsrk,” accompanied by a red heart emoji. This response has fueled speculation about a future collaboration between the two stars, who last worked together in the 2014 heist comedy Happy New Year, directed by Farah Khan. The film featured an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah, and Jackie Shroff.

Fans quickly reacted to Sood’s comment, with many expressing their excitement. One fan wrote, “Please do!!,” while another added, “Manifesting this soon.”

During the session, Sood also spoke fondly of his Dabangg co-star Salman Khan. When a fan asked for one word to describe Salman’s iconic character Chulbul Panday, Sood responded, “Salman bhai jaan hai apni (Salman brother is my life) @BeingSalmanKhan.”
