Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has addressed the ongoing Twitter feud between Ajay Devgn and Sudeep about Hindi's position as the national language.
Sonu Sood, who has worked in both Hindi and South Indian films, told a news outlet that he does not believe Hindi can be referred to simply as the national language. India, he claims, has just one language, which is entertainment. The actor went on to say that it doesn't matter what business you're in, people will love, respect, and accept you if you amuse them.
Sonu further elaborated, telling a major news outlet that the success of South cinema will revolutionize the way Hindi films are created.
He went on to explain that the days of saying "leave your thoughts at home" are long gone. According to him, the audience will not put their minds at ease and pay thousands of rupees for a typical picture.
Sudeep recently stated at an event that Hindi is no longer the national language, which sparked a discussion. Ajay, who appeared to be outraged by this remark, took to Twitter to criticise the south celebrity, asking why he subtitles his movies in Hindi. Sudeep then corrected his position, claiming that his remark was misconstrued and that he would never say something like this.
Sonu will next be seen in Akshay Kumar's film 'Prithviraj,' with which Manushi Chhillar will make her acting debut. Aside from that, he's working on a number of projects set in the south.
