Sonam Kapoor Left Shocked As Instagram Refuses To Take Down Death Threats Sister Rhea is Getting

Indeed being on social media has become a rather two-way street for every public figure, where being on the platform and its immense reach certainly elevates any work or promotions they do but also turns out to be a hub for negativity, judgment and trolling almost all the time.

Ones on the receiving end of the same rather frequently has been actor Sonam Kapoor Ahuja. The actor is known to speak her mind and that has rarely gone down too well with the social media audiences. While supporting or debating against her is certainly someone's choice but rape threats, death threats or any such comments of similar nature are in no way acceptable, no matter what the issue in question is.

So, Kapoor Ahuja recently saw that her sister, Rhea Kapoor was the recipient of death threats from a user which was reported to Instagram and it was asked to be taken down. However, the photo-sharing application's response is what shocked both the Kapoor sisters all the more as it said that "this comment likely doesn't go against our community guidelines."

Kapoor said, "Instagram, seriously?? Now let's have a look at the comment. This has happened multiple times," " Of course, I will block this individual but are you doing your part go keep this 'community' safe? Tap to see the comment."

To which, an angry Sonam reposted and added, "Instagram doesn't think death threat is a violation. Or their India team can't read Hindi."
