On November 1, she wrote an emotional note for Rohit Bal on her Instagram stories, recalling their special times together. She shared several pictures and expressed her gratitude for being able to know him and work with him.

She wrote, "Dear Gudda, I hear about your passing on my way to celebrate Diwali in your gorgeous creation that you generously lent to me for the second time. I've been blessed to have known you and worn you and walked for you multiple times. I hope you're at peace. Always your biggest fan. @rohitbalofficial."

On the professional front, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja was last seen in the 2023 film Blind, which she had shot before her pregnancy. She later took a break from acting to focus on her personal life. After welcoming her son, Vayu, with husband Anand Ahuja, she decided to step away from films for a while. However, in 2023, she confirmed that she would soon make her comeback with Battle of Bittora, an adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s novel.
