Ace director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, who has delivered masterpiece projects such as Rang De Basanti and Delhi 6,is all set to tinsel-ize the life and lies of legendary Indian athlete, Milkha Singh.

In order to make this project more successful than his previous ventures, Mehra has been heard to have opted for nothing less than perfection, and for this he has been on fruitful rounds in finalizing the cast and other crew members needed throughout the making of the film.

Latest we hear is that Mehra has roped in the classy Sonam Kapoor and the multi-talented Farhan Akhtar. The film titled Bhaag Milkha Bhaag as of now, will see Farhan in the chief role of Milkha Singh while Sonam will stand by his side as the leading lady.

Farhan, apparently, will be undergoing special training to fit into the boots of an athlete. Moreover, he recently paid a visit to Milkha Singh and his family who reside in the outskirts of Punjab to get more depth for his role.

The film is slated to go on floors from February next year.

The buzz as of now is that what magic can these two 'out-of-the-regular-league' actors create? Only the tale of time shall tell. Till then, here's wishing the whole project best of luck!
