Sonal Chauhan clears air on replacing Jacqueline Fernandez in The Ghost

There were speculations a month earlier that Jacqueline Fernandez, who had been cast in Akkineni Nagarjuna's The Ghost, would not be appearing in the movie. Sonal Chauhan featured opposite Nagarjuna in the film aa it was later revealed. Sonal confirmed the news when BT contacted her.

The Jannat actress stated, 

"I don't know if I replaced anyone. It does not work like that in films. People explore various options and cast an actor, who suits the script. Jacqueline is an achiever, and I have great respect for her as an actress. I am just glad that I am doing the film."

Sonal went on to say that finding a fantastic movie is like hitting the jackpot. Every performer does her best, but the results aren't known until the film is out. A film's success is not dependent on a single pillar. There are so many things that come collectively to make it a success. She is overjoyed to have gotten a part that will be crucial in moving the tale forward.

Sonal shared her thoughts on a strong script, saying that she has worked on a few decent flicks and has always believed that the storyline must connect with audiences emotionally and cognitively. Even if one looks fantastic and acts with their whole soul, it must communicate properly onscreen at the end of the day. She is overjoyed to be cast opposite such a renowned name as Nagarjuna.

Kajal Agarwal had been cast in the film before Jacqueline, however, she had to drop out due to her pregnancy.
