'Some goodbyes are..': Did Anupamaa's Manish Goel CONFIRM his exit from show?

Television actor Manish Goel, who recently joined the cast of the popular Star Plus show Anupamaa, has sparked speculation about his exit from the series.

On May 21, the actor shared a cryptic note on his Instagram Stories that read: “Some goodbyes are precious and memorable. Thank you God for everything.”

Though Manish didn’t mention the show directly, the timing of his message has raised eyebrows, especially since it came just after the release of Anupamaa's latest promo.

In the newly released promo, the show's lead character Anupamaa (played by Rupali Ganguly) is seen making a life-changing decision. She leaves behind both the Shah and Kothari families to begin a fresh chapter in Mumbai, choosing independence over emotional baggage. This shift marks a major turn in the storyline and could explain why Manish Goel's character may no longer be part of the upcoming plot.

Manish had joined the show earlier this year, adding a new dynamic to Anupamaa’s journey. India Forums had earlier exclusively informed about Anupamaa taking a leap and Manish's potential exit after the same. Speaking to us about his exit, Goel had earlier said, ''Well, nothing that I have been told about. I mean, we get our schedule for the next day in the evening and I prepare my day also accordingly. As for quitting, I have 6 scenes today and I have already done 4 scenes.''

''My character has always been a cameo. When I was offered the character, I was told that it was a cameo which will last for 3-4 months. Out of which, I have completed 3 months. When a cameo of an actor is extended, it works excellently for them and if it is not, then also fine, you were already informed about the same in advance. So yeah, thats about it. Not quitting as of now, no information on the leap too,'' Manish told India Forums exclusively earlier.
