Smriti Kalra: Neil had to wait patiently and it makes me immensely happy he is doing a prime time show

Smriti Kalra has sure come a long way ever since she first played the lead in 12/24 Karol Bagh as Simmi on Zee TV, where she co-starred Neil Bhatt. Later, Suvreen Guggal - topper of The Year turned out to be her claim to fame and ever since, there is no stopping her. She made her Bollywood debut with Cash and managed to grab quite a lot of attention and more recently, has been featuring in a musical series alongside Harshad Chopda.

Smriti spoke to India Forums in a brief chat earlier this week where she spoke about all her co-stars so far and while each is different and lovely to work with, she does have only nice things to say about her first co-star Neil, currently seen in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. She tells us, ''My first co-star, Neil, who has gotten married recently, very good guy. When We shot for Karol Bagh, he was the only one from Mumbai and we did not even know enough about acting, we were studying and in Delhi.''

She added,

He is very generous and very sweet, a very hard working guy. I am really glad Neil's doing the show. He had to wait patiently for a brief time and it makes me immensely happy that right now he is doing a prime time show he very rightfully deserves.

Smriti proudly believes that she has had the nicest of equations with everybody she has worked with and that things have always been great from her end and her words of praise rightly throw light on the same.
