Priyanka Chopra met the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi yesterday.

During her meeting the actress was sitting with her legs crossed in front of the PM all throughout. Her sitting position didn't go down well with our fellow Indians who in turn slammed the actress badly for showing her legs and sitting "wrongly".

Reacting to all the attacks and reports against her, PeeCee put up a picture of herself with her mom Madhu Chopra where both the women are seen showing off their long legs and captioned it: "Legs for days... #itsthegenes with @madhuchopra nights out in #Berlin #beingbaywatch"

Why are we Indian people so quick to judge women based on how much skin is shown and what outfit has been worn? Her outfit was very decent; she wasn't wearing party wear to see the PM. If a male figure visited the PM in shorts instead of an "indian attire", would he be shamed as well? The double standards are exactly why indian females are known to be one of the most oppressed.

Problem is not in the way she sat. That was perfectly okay. Problem is in her dress, there is a reason there are separate dresses for different occassions and people. Meeting such dignitariues is a very formal occasion. You cannot wear such dresses in these kind of "official" formal occasions. Indian attires suit best. Or wearing Indian dress would have made her less beautiful, or less of a Hollywood heroine?

What's wrong in her posture?! If you know about model or personality training thats the exact way you sit in a above-knee dress actually! Keeping parallel legs is considered un-lady like, another way you sit is crossing at your ankles but since she's wearing a short dress that may flash her inner wear! So actually her posture is right about flashing legs there is no dress code set and if there was a problem she would have been informed in advance. How can her dressing style relate to her shame??? Who the hell does keep honour, respect or shame in a dress?? It should be looked in action, behaviour and words. And I find nothing disrespectful in it!!!

Think she looks ok,is sitting like a lady should with her legs crossed, so what's the problem here? But why not wear traditional outfit when meeting the prime minister of India? It's ok if it were in a foreign country, each to their own I suppose. The picture of her and her mother... Well
