Skyforce directors Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur announce the completion of shooting

The upcoming year 2025 will start with the highly anticipated aerial action-drama movie, SKYFORCE, unfolding against the backdrop of the intense Indo-Pak tensions of the 1960s-70s.

The film highlights the collaboration of two visionary directors, Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur. It stars the Akshay Kumar alongside the talented newcomer Veer, Sara Ali Khan, Nimrat Kaur, and Sharad Kelkar in significant roles. The production is handled by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Jio Studios, and Amar Kaushik.

The movie was filmed in different spots like Mumbai, Lucknow, Sitapur, Amritsar, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pathankot, the UK, and currently Mussoorie, where they shot a unique song.

Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur hopped on Instagram to show their appreciation for the entire team. Sandeep Kewlani expressed, “I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who worked on SKYFORCE. The film was definitely a challenging one to bring to life, but it’s the dedication of the crew that made it possible."

At the same time, Abhishek Anil Kapur lauded the fantastic crew of the movie and hailed Amar Kaushik as the cornerstone of SKYFORCE.

Sandeep Kewlani, who not only directed but also scripted the film, has collaborated with skilled writers like Niren Bhatt (Stree 2, Bala, Stree 1) and Aamil Keeyan Khan (Drishyam 2, Shaitan). Together, they have developed an engaging plot that promises intense action and a cinematic treat that Hindi movie buffs are eagerly looking forward to.

The action scenes in the film are choreographed by Craig Macrae, well-known as an action choreographer, action director, and stunt coordinator. Some of his remarkable projects include Jawan (2023), Pathaan, War 1 & 2, and Hollywood hits like Mad Max: Fury Road, Grimsby, and Alien Outpost. He received guidance from Indian action director Parvez Shaikh, renowned for Kill, Fighter, and the YRF Tiger & Spy franchise, among others.

Shortly, the motion poster, teaser, trailer, and songs will be unveiled by Maddock Films to create excitement. Backed by Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik, and Jyoti Deshpande, SKYFORCE is preparing for its big-screen debut on January 24, 2025.
