Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known by his stage name KK, left for heavenly abode a few days ago. His melodies, on the other hand, live on and enthrall millions of people who like listening to him. KK was a terrific artist who sang in films such as Raees, Jannat, Om Shanti Om, and Rhena Hai Tere Dil Mein.
Shaan Mukherji, a well-known Bollywood vocalist who goes by the name Shaan, was a dear friend of KK's. They worked together on a number of chart-topping songs, including Koi Kahi, Time To Disco, Dus Bahane, and Golmaal, and were most recently seen on Kapil Sharma's comedy programme. Both of them had a close friendship, and KK's death came as a shock to his long-time buddy.
Shaan couldn't help but sing a song in honour of the famous KK while singing at an event. He began by noting that he'd want to begin the evening by commemorating KK and singing his timeless song, which included a deep philosophical message.
He performed in front of the audience, singing 'Pal,' one of KK's most popular songs, to a standing ovation. Shaan’s Instagram post read sharing his performance in remembrance of KK read,
“Remembering Kakes. Don’t know why but that’s what I call him. Kakes”.
Shaan’s post was short but heartfelt as it took his followers a layer deeper into the relation of the two maestros.
He uploaded a wonderful collage of himself and KK on his Instagram page after learning of KK's tragic death. He wrote a long piece on how rare and unique the deceased musician was, as well as how tough it would be for his wife and children to cope.
KK's most recent song was Yeh Hausla from Ranveer Singh's 83, and he has a number of unreleased songs scheduled for release in 2023. His most recent musical endeavour is rumoured to be the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif movie Tiger 3, which will be released on Eid 2023 and directed by Maneesh Sharma.
