Simmba: Sara and Janhvi battle it out be the Heroine of Ranveer Singh?

Apparently, the two hottest newcomers are in a race to romance Ranveer on-screen.

Newcomers and star kids Sara Ali Khan and Jahnavi Kapoor have been in the news ever since their respective debuts films - Kedarnath and Dhadak were announced. Both of them have almost an equal fan-following as of now.

It's no wonder that Ranveer Singh is a hot property in the industry and hence no actress would leave a chance to romance him on the screen also given that he is a phenomenal actor as well. Looks like newbies Sara Ali Khan and Jahnavi Kapoor are in a race to bag the role opposite Ranveer in his upcoming comedy-drama film 'Simmba'.

A source told Deccan Chronicle, "Rohit Shetty's film will mount the floors soon after Gully Boy and will release this year. Now, both Sara and Janhvi will try their best to bag a role for Simmba. Janhvi was always an option for the makers. What will be interesting is if Sara bags the role. Then both these actresses shall then vie for the best newcomer award next year".

Talking about their films currently, Sara is busy with the second schedule of her film 'Kedarnath' and is also rumoured to sign the sequel of Hindi Medium. While Jhanvi is busy prepping for her film 'Dhadak' with debutant co-star Ishaan Khattar.

Jhanvi's debut film Dhadak is scheduled to release on July 20 while no date has been finalized for Sara's debut Kedarnath.
