Sidharth Malhotra, Tamannaah Bhatia pair up for Vvan; actress to shine in author-backed role

Fans were excited when Sidharth Malhotra’s Vvan was announced. The film is being made by Ekta Kapoor and the director is Deepak Mishra of TVF fame. After the intriguing announcement, there was no news on the movie. Everyone was wondering what is happening. Now, it is reported that Ekta Kapoor and Deepak Mishra have finalised the leading lady of Vvan. And it is none other than Tamannaah Bhatia.

The premise of the film is based on a folk story that has its roots in Hindu mythology. Tamannaah Bhatia has been on a roll of late. This is her fourth film. The actress has the gorgeous Indian looks needed for a movie with desi roots. Tamannaah is also looking great in her latest release, Odela where she plays a female priest.

A source told Pinkvilla, “Tamannaah Bhatia is on a signing spree. After Ranger, Rakesh Maria Biopic, and No Entry 2, she has signed on for director Deepak Mishra’s next, Vann. The film is scheduled to go on floors in June 2025, and will hit the big screen in 2026.”

Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor have been busy with Param Sundari. It is North-South love story being produced by Maddock Films. He also has Race 4 in the kitty with Saif Ali Khan.
