Gully Boy fame Siddhant Chaturvedi never steps back from voicing his opinions on important matters. In the wake of the recent controversy around ‘Bois Locker Room’, a Delhi based Instagram group chat of young boys who share private pictures of teenage girls, morph the images and discuss gang rape, the actor raised his voice.
Soon after the group chat involving explicit conversations, pictures and videos went viral, a similar episode of ‘Girls Locker Room’ came to light where girls mock private pictures of teenage boys.
Siddhant aka MC Sher took to his Instagram to share a picture of the ‘Human Coronavirus Family’ and compared it to the ongoing controversy of 'Bois locker room' and 'Girls locker room’. He called these locker rooms extreme red zones.

Earlier, Bollywood actors Swara Bhasker and Richa Chadha opened up and strongly condemned the Boys Locker Room. While Richa called it a multi-faceted problem, Swara strongly mentioned: “Not enough to ‘hang rapists’ .. we must attack the mentality that creates rapists!”
For the unaware, these locker rooms are Instagram group chats where teenage boys and girls share, discuss and joke about private pictures and conversations. The photos are further subjected to lewd comments, slut-shaming and body shaming. Private chats accessed by certain users also showed members joking about violence against women and ways to rape minors.
On Monday, the Delhi Police Cyber Crime Cell took notice of the Instagram group called 'Bois Locker Room' which shared objectionable pictures of women and glorified rape on their group chat. According to the DCP Cyber Crime Cell, a case has been registered under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act.
