On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, BollyCurry takes a look at some famous brother-sister duos of Bollywood who might not always be in the spotlight, but nevertheless, share a special bond with one another. Despite the little time they spend with their respective siblings due to tight schedules, their bonds have stayed strong through all the ups and downs of life.

Abhishek Bachchan & Shweta Bachchan Nanda

This sibling duo is special because a housewife, and a mother of two, Shweta is the darling of everyone in her family, especially her younger brother, Abhishek. She may not make frequent appearances at events, neither has too many pictures taken, but she is definitely the apple of his eye.

Hrithik Roshan & Sunaina Roshan

The Krrish of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan, has a personal superwoman in his life, who just happens to be his older sister, Sunaina. She is a source of inspiration for the entire Roshan family because of her survival against cancer. She is the backbone to their production house and is an active decision maker for the clan as well.

Shah Rukh Khan & Shehnaz Lalarukh Khan

The elder sister of Bollywood's King Khan is barely seen onscreen, neither is she spoken of much, but since his early childhood, Shah Rukh's strength comes from his sister, Shehnaz. The duo lost their parents at a young age, therefore, Shah Rukh always found his sister his support system and he, himself, has always been the caring younger brother to her. Recently, Shehnaz was spotted with Shah Rukh and his family at the Mannat Eid event.

Farah Khan & Sajid Khan

Farah, the famous choreographer-turned-director who has made a name for herself in Bollywood, and Sajid, an acclaimed director, can regularly be spotted at events and parties. Although Sajid could not level up to gain success as an actor, his collaboration with Farah brought about some hit films such Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om.

Saif Ali Khan & Soha Ali Khan

Children to veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, this lovely duo share a very fond relationship with one another. Both have gone different ways when it comes to their careers; Saif has carved a noticeable name and place for himself in Tinsel Town, while Soha still struggles to climb the ladder of success. Above all, these two are spotted together many times at events and their bonding is evident.

Farhan Akhtar & Zoya Akhtar

Born to the famous lyricist, Javed Akhtar, this is Bollywood's most talented siblings duo. If there is anything these two have in abundance, it is success in films, one after another. Be it Zoya's direction of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, or Farhan's Dil Chahta Hai, there isn't a movie produced or directed by either of the two which has gone missed at the box-office.

Ekta Kapoor & Tusshar Kapoor

Superstar of yesteryears, Jeetendra's children, Ekta and Tusshar, have been present on the big screen for quite some time now. While Ekta is notoriously known as the "TV Czarina" and the mother of K-serials who is starting her reign in Bollywood as well, Tusshar is slowly making his way to success. Off late, the duo worked together in Shor in the City, which performed well, as well as the box office hit, The Dirty Picture, which was critically acclaimed all over.

Other siblings include Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan and sisters, Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor and brother Harshvardhan Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and sister Riddhima Kapoor and lastly, Priyanka Chopra and her brother Siddharth Chopra.
