Shreyas Talpade's health update- Wife Deepti issues a statement; "he will be discharged in few days"

In a recent turn of events, actor Shreyas Talpade was hospitalized in Mumbai following a heart attack. The 47-year-old actor had reportedly been shooting for the upcoming film "Welcome to the Jungle" on Wednesday when he collapsed post the shoot. Rushed to Bellevue Hospital in Andheri, Talpade underwent an angioplasty procedure. Concerns about his health have been widespread, prompting his wife, Deepti Talpade, to share a reassuring update on his condition.

Taking to Instagram on Friday morning, Deepti expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming concern and well-wishes pouring in for Shreyas. She conveyed the good news that he is now in stable condition and is expected to be discharged in the coming days. Deepti acknowledged the exceptional care and timely response from the medical team.

Her note read, “Dear Friends and Media I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming concern and well-wishes following the recent health scare my husband experienced. I'm relieved to update everyone that he is now in stable condition and will be discharged in a few days.”

She then added, “The medical team's exceptional care and timely response have been instrumental during this time, and we are grateful for their expertise. We kindly request respect for our privacy as he continues his recovery. Your unwavering support has been a tremendous source of strength for both of us. Warm regards, Deepti Shreyas Talpade.”

The news of Shreyas Talpade's health scare had initially surfaced on Thursday, revealing that he had been in good spirits while shooting for 'Welcome to the Jungle' throughout the day.
