Shraddha Kapoor Recites Moving Poetry to Support #LockdownZoos Initiative; Video below

Shraddha Kapoor’s love and affection towards animals isn’t new news. The actress has been vocal about fighting for animals rights on several occasions and today, she shared a post on her social media to support the #LockdownZoos initiative. 

Shraddha shared a beautiful poem on her social media from the perspective of a caged animal, talking about freedom and life outside of zoos. 

The actress has previously been vocal about helping animals and is the first and foremost celebrity to bring light to the topic of helping animals. Shraddha is one of the most beloved celebrities in all age groups and it is one of the major reasons she was approached by PETA for the same.

She had also taken up the noble responsibility to help the voiceless stray animals and donated to an NGO to feed and take care of the stray animals.

Earlier, the actress also urged people to extend help towards the migrants walking home in Maharashtra amid the coronavirus pandemic. Taking to social media, Shraddha wrote, "A request to whoever comes across the migrants who have been allowed to walk home on humanitarian grounds in Maharashtra, please give them food and water along the way.”

The Saaho actress also penned a heartfelt post on her Instagram on the occasion of International Nurse Day. “Big RESPECT, for the sincerity towards your service. Big SALUTE, for your selfless toil in these challenging times. Big THANK YOU, for the sacrifices you make for our safety. You are, our Angels in disguise. Happy #InternationalNursesDay" read her post.
