Shraddha and Aditya's special treat: To remake 'Hamma Hamma'

Bollywood actor Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor's first outing, Aashiqui 2 had been a tremendous success. Now, the duo are all set to give their next hit together again. They recently wrapped up shooting for Shaad Ali's upcoming film 'Ok Jaanu'.

As per a report in a tabloid, Shraddha and Aditya will be seen performing on one of the most hit tracks from 90's- 'Hamma Hamma'. The song which originally belongs to Mani Ratnam's 1995 film 'Bombay' will be recreated for 'Ok Jaanu'.

A source was quoted in the report stating that, "While original lyrics have been retained, Jubin Nautiyal and Shashaa Tirupati have given playback for the new, peppier version. The song was shot in Mumbai recently and will appear at a crucial point in the narrative". (sic)

The report also informs that Tanishk Bagchi and Badshah have conceptualized the song and Shraddha and Aditya will also rap for the song.

'Ok Jaanu' is a remake of Tamil film 'Ok Kanmani'. Aashiqui 2 had marked a grand debut opening at the Box office, will this film cross that benchmark? Well, that's something time will tell. All we need to do is wait and watch as the story unfolds.
