Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are among the most talked-about couples in the television industry, often making headlines for both their personal and professional lives. Recently, the couple has found themselves at the center of speculation following reports that Dipika’s clothing brand, Label DKI, has shut down operations unexpectedly.
Dipika and Shoaib launched Label DKI—an ethnic wear brand named after Dipika’s full name, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim—in late 2023. The brand, which focused on traditional Indian fashion, was introduced as Dipika’s dream project, something she had been planning and working on for over two years. However, due to personal responsibilities and health issues, the launch had been delayed. When the brand finally went live in September-October 2024, it was well received by fans and followers who admired Dipika’s vision and style.
However, rumors began circulating recently that the brand had shut down entirely, leading to confusion among fans. Responding to the speculation, Shoaib Ibrahim addressed the issue during a Q&A session on his social media. When asked directly whether Label DKI had shut down, Shoaib clarified that the brand is not closed. He explained that they have not uploaded any new stock recently, which may have led to the misunderstanding. He assured fans that fresh collections will be launched soon and that the brand is very much active.
This reassurance from Shoaib has brought relief to the couple’s supporters, many of whom were excited about Dipika’s foray into entrepreneurship. Despite the rumors, it appears that Label DKI is on a temporary pause rather than a permanent shutdown.
Dipika Kakar, who had taken a brief step back from acting, was recently seen participating in the reality cooking show Celebrity Masterchef. Unfortunately, she had to exit the show midway due to medical reasons. The actress has since been focusing on her health and personal life, including spending time with her newborn and managing her brand.
Fans continue to admire the couple’s resilience and dedication, both in their personal lives and professional ventures. With Shoaib’s clarification, expectations are now high for the brand’s return with fresh stock and new designs.
