Shiv Thakare REPLACES Dipika Kakkar in Celebrity Masterchef

Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim made her television comeback after four years with Celebrity MasterChef, but there’s disappointing news for her fans. India Forums exclusively reported that Dipika had to leave the show due to health issues.

While Dipika herself hasn’t confirmed the news, her co-contestant Usha Nadkarni recently spoke about it in an interview. Usha revealed that Dipika had been struggling with an arm injury. She had visited the doctor and returned to the show but was unable to continue due to the pain.

The latest update is that Shiv Thakare has been approached to join the show as a wildcard entry. A source from the set shared that Shiv will replace Dipika Kakkar in the competition. However, there is no official confirmation from the makers or Shiv himself yet.

Shiv Thakare first gained fame when he participated in MTV Roadies Rising, where he made it to the semifinals. He then won Bigg Boss Marathi Season 2, which made him a household name. Later, he became a finalist on Bigg Boss 16, where he competed alongside MC Stan, Abdu Rozik, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Sajid Khan, and Sumbul Touqeer.

Apart from Bigg Boss, Shiv has also been part of reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, further establishing himself as a strong reality TV star.

With Shiv’s entry, it will be interesting to see how he adapts to the Celebrity MasterChef kitchen and competes against other celebrity contestants. Fans are now eagerly waiting for an official announcement!

The current season of Celebrity MasterChef features a star-studded lineup, including Gaurav Khanna, Tejasswi Prakash, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni, Rajiv Adatia, Nikki Tamboli, Kabita Singh, Faisal Shaikh (Mr. Faisu), and Ayesha Jhulka. The show is hosted by Farah Khan, with Chef Ranveer Brar and Chef Vikas Khanna as judges.
