Shahmir Khan, who is set to enter TV show 'Dhartiputra Nandini' to play the role of an antagonist Beera says, his role has a special connection with his favourite Bollywood stars, Amitabh Bachchan and Ranveer Singh.
He said : "My role in the show is negative and is very powerful. And it is similar to what my favourite Shri Amitabh sir essayed in the iconic film Don. I draw inspiration from him as my role demands a typical Uttar Pradesh dialect and local speech with a lot of swag. On the other hand my style and looks are inspired by Ranveer Singh, as he looked in his superhit movie 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela'. I'm enjoying such an amazing opportunity."

"I don't mind typecast as a villain. I'm happy to essay roles that are interesting, promising and helping me to grow as an actor. I guess playing negative roles needs more hard work and the artist needs the potential to make the audience hate him. We need to act with our gestures too which at times is not really easy. However this is my second show and I guess I have much more to explore as an actor in the coming future."
'Dhartiputra Nandini' airs a story about a girl who defies the stereotype of being a 'Farmer's Daughter' and is a rooted "Kisan Girl" who is deeply connected to her land and its soil for which she is ready to go through innumerable struggles in life.
