Shahid speaks out!

The chocolate boy of Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor, celebrated his 30th birthday just a few days ago, on the 25th of February. News of his birthday bash has been fervently circling the gossip mills - who attended, what they were wearing, etc. But it seems that people are mor fixated on those who did not attend the party, or at least, one person in particular whose absence was most conspicuous.

This was the point when Shahid cried out enough is enough and decided to speak up. While acknowledging that being a celebrity means that he and Priyanka have to deal with the speculations and comments about their relationship and lives, Shahid also said that the press have gone over the limit this time. 

Priyanka was out of town at the time of Shahid's party for a work relate business, a fact that he was well aware of, thus he wonders why the press are making such a big deal of her absence. Shahid went on to state that PC's work is important to her, and she could hardly fly back just for a mere party.

The actor has resolved to ignore such news from here on.
