Shahid Kapoor's recalls the accident during Taal shoot which was the 'best & the worst day'

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor recently shared an interesting anecdote about his early days in the industry. For the unversed, before making his debut with the film Ishq Vishk, Shahid had humble beginnings as a background dancer in several movies. One such instance was his blink-and-miss appearance in the popular song "Kahin Aag Lage Lag Jaaye" from the 1991 film Taal, featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Shahid reminisced about shooting with Aishwarya and described it as both the best and worst day of his life.

In a conversation with Radio Nasha about the same, the Kabir Singh actor revealed that he had an unfortunate accident on the way to the Taal song shoot. He had fallen off his motorcycle, which left him flustered when he arrived on set. 

Recounting the incident, Shahid said, no one knows this, but that day he met with an accident. He used to ride his motorcycle, and he fell off it. So, he remembers that he reached the set very flustered because he had fallen off, and he was shocked with what had happened with him.  And that was the shoot day this happened with him. He said,  "I'll always remember it as the worst and the best day of my life at that time."

Before his appearance in Taal, Shahid Kapoor had also worked as a background dancer in the film Dil To Pagal Hai. He was part of the renowned Shiamak Davar dance troupe during that time. Shahid recalled his early days as a rookie dancer and admitted to being a nervous wreck, constantly hoping not to make any mistakes.

Talking about his workfront recently, Shahid Kapoor made his OTT debut with the series Farzi, directed by Raj and DK. The show, which also starred Vijay Sethupathi and Raashii Khanna, showcased Shahid's versatility as an actor. His next project, Bloody Daddy, is set to release on Jio Cinema on June 9.
