A still from the film Ishq Vishk

Shahid Kapoor made his Bollywood debut with the 2003 film Ishq Vishk which also starred Amrita Rao and Shenaz Treasury in the lead roles. The film was loved by the audience and Shahid was praised for his debut performance.

Post Ishq Vishk, Shahid became everyone's favourite and later he evolved as an actor as he delivered amazing performances in films like Jab We Met, Kaminey, Haider, Udta Punjab and many more. In a recent interview with Indian Express, the actor shared some of the interesting memories from the sets of his debut film.

When asked how was his first day on the sets, Shahid answered that he was shooting a scene with a fake Sachin Tendulkar and it was a funny scene. He had a lot of fun shooting it and they were shooting in the Royal Palms of Mumbai. He was questioned about the number of times he took and whether he was nervous on the sets.

Kapoor revealed, "Very nervous! I was nervous every day of that film. I think we took about 11-12 retakes in the first shot."

On the work front, Shahid's recent release Kabir Singh broke all the records at the box office. The film didn't go well with a few critics but was heavily appreciated by the audience. For the unversed, Kabir Singh was an official remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy.

Stay tuned for more updates.
