Shahid Kapoor will make his digital debut in Raj and DK's new web series, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Raashi Khanna. The web series, directed by The Family Man creators, began production last year. The title of the series was released today, April 28th, by Amazon Prime Video.
When the Kabir Singh actor was asked about if after working for so many years, does this debut feel like a debut, Shahid replied,
"So from what we do in movies, it's a completely different medium, it is a completely different platform, so I'm very nervous and very excited at the same time and I always wanted to do something which is a changer for me."
He further added that,
"I have been doing this for about 18 years so I'm gonna do something that's challenging and different and this story, this character really resonated with what I wanted to do and to me, it matters up to any film I would have done. I feel that it will be as original to me as any character that I might have done and I'm super excited to share this with the world and with all the viewers of amazon prime and cant wait to see what people will think about it."
Farzi is the title of the web series starring Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, and Rashi Khanna. Shahid's OTT debut was announced in January of last year.
