Shah Rukh Khan's former classmate recalls his kind gestures for theater group pals

Shah Rukh Khan has undeniably won the spotlight in 2023 with his blockbuster hits like Pathaan and Jawan. Adding to the list of successes is his recent project, Dunki, which has garnered immense praise from fans. Amidst the celebratory air, Shah Rukh Khan's former classmate from Barry John’s theatre group, Deepika Deshpande Amin, shared some delightful memories of their time together.

In an interaction with Rajshri Unplugged, Amin reminisced about the late-night rehearsals at the theatre group and how Shah Rukh Khan's gentlemanly gestures stood out. During those days, Khan was the only one among them with a car. 

Amin shared, “Shah Rukh and Rituraj were the two people who had cars, and they used to drop all the girls off at their respective homes. It felt like a transport vehicle, and everyone used to pile up. Shah Rukh had the Maruti van, and he used to drop everyone off one by one at their homes. Everyone used to help each other. We used to all go and buy costumes together.”

Meanwhile, Srk's Dunki is gaining positive reviews from all quarters. The film features Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, and Boman Irani, and revolves around the theme of illegal immigration, specifically focusing on a technique known as Donkey Flight.
