Shagun Singh : Was upset about 'Mast Mauli' ending but now I'm happy to play Nandani in 'Dharamputra Nandini'

Actress Shagun Singh who was previously seen essaying the lead role of Mauli in the television show Mast Mauli has now joined the upcoming show, Dharamputra Nandini, to play the lead role of Nandani.

She says, "I'm very much excited to get my other show as lead. I will be seen playing the titular role of Nandani. The character is full of adventures and promising. Nandani is very mature at a young age. She is straightforward and is aware of right and wrong in any situation she is dealing with. She is calm and very much responsible for her family." 

The actress added that apart from playing a new role, she also looks forward to learning new things and meeting new people.

She continued, "Apart from my role, I'm much more excited to meet new people, make new friends and learn something new with the new team. While we shoot together, we make a new family. I'm really excited to meet my new co-stars on the sets of a new show."

Shagun talking ahead, revealed that she was upset about her last show, Mast Mauli ending in just three months.

She tells, "I was very much close to my role Mauli, like I was living it everyday while shoots. The role will always remain close to my heart. I was getting a very positive response about that role from the audience too. There appreciation means a lot to me and I feel it was their blessings that so soon I found another new role. I believe with every ending there's a new beginning. And I'm now excited about my new show."

Shagun is known for featuring in shows like Balveer Returns, Ek Mahan Nayak Dr. BR Ambedkar among others.
